Ursula Derichs received her diploma in Computer Science from the University of Aachen (RWTH Aachen) in Germany. During 1995-2013 she worked as software developer and product manager in the telecommunication industry. In 2013 she started as lecturer at the Institute of Electrical Engineering at the Cologne University of Applied Science, and moved to the Institute for Media and Imaging Technologies in October 2013.
