Abstract
The Mixed Reality Stage is an interactive envir onment for supporting collabor ative planning meetings in the application area of pre-productions. Based on augmented reality (AR) technology a group of experts shall be enabled to do complex planning a nd simulation tasks, without altering their current working habits radically. Virtual models and characters are projected into the real working environ- ment of the users, enhancing the real world blendi ng the real and the virtual. Multi-modal interaction techniques and tangible user interfaces are used to provide easy and natural access to virtual artifacts and characters.
